TUITION REFUND LETTER TEMPLATE-VETERAN AND MILITARY EDITION

If you're a US veteran or military service member, in Chapter 31, you will likely get slapped with "unsatisfactory academic progress" and the college or university will try to force you to give them private information.

How you get around that is to points out ETHICS by asking for a tuition and fees refund to the refund committee. Fill in the areas in brackets in this letter with your information per your school and submit it with the DD Form 2870 and VA Form 21-0845.

This will bring attention to this college's unethical practices to try to exploit information from a US veteran and military service member thinking that it is ok to share their information without signed releases of information approved by the US Dept of Defense and the US Dept of Veterans Affairs. This letter will show the dignity you have as well as you can file complaints with the state ethics commission. The colleges and universities are held by the state and federal ethics commissions because they receive funding from the state and federal governments.
